Local electricians, straight answers
Electricians who are licensed, pull the permit, and would rather find the loose neutral than sell you a new panel.
About Nashville's Electrician
Nashville's Electrician is an electrical contractor serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Electrical is the trade where the shortcut burns the house down years later, and where the person who did it is long gone. Every electrician on our crews is licensed by the state, permits the work that needs it, and tells you when the honest answer is a repair rather than a rewire.
What we do
- Pull the permit. Panels, circuits and service upgrades are permitted and inspected; the inspection is your protection, not our paperwork.
- Troubleshoot first. A flickering light is a loose connection somewhere; finding it costs an hour, replacing the panel to avoid looking costs thousands.
- Price fixed-scope jobs firmly. A panel upgrade, an EV charger, a generator transfer switch — one number, on paper, before the work.
What we will not do
- Touch a panel without a license. Tennessee requires one for a reason; every electrician we send holds it and can show it.
- Bury a junction box. Every splice is accessible and inspected, because a hidden one is a fire you cannot find.
- Sell a rewire for a repair. Old wiring with sound insulation is safe; old wiring with brittle insulation is not, and we show you which you have.
What we actually work on
Licensed electricians in Nashville.
The electrical problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Breaker keeps tripping
- Burning smell near an outlet
- Lights flicker or dim
- Need a charger for a new EV
- Panel is old or full
- Failed a home inspection
Who does the work
Every electrician on our crews holds a current Tennessee electrical license and liability insurance, both on file with us and both yours to see before the work starts.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a electrical job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The electricians who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No reviews are shown on this site yet: a company this new with a page of testimonials would be borrowing them, and an electrical company that would do that would cut other corners too.
Where we work
Electricians covering Nashville also take Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the whole range is 65 towns across 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for electrical, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our electrical guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any electrician in the region, including us.
Who we are
Nashville's Electrician is owned and run by Michael Blair, and he answers for every word on this site. The pages are written from manufacturer documentation, Tennessee code and the trade’s own practice, and revised when those change; the posts carry his name and their dates. The electricians who do the work are licensed, insured, held to the commitments above, and Nashville's Electrician stands behind the work.
Check us, or any electrician: a Tennessee contractor’s license is verified at verify.tn.gov, the certificate of insurance is yours to ask for before anyone starts, and the permit office for your town is named on its page.
